1st International Workshop on Reacting Particle-Gas Systems took place from 7-9 June 2022 at Ruhr-University Bochum. The event is organized by the Collaborative Research Centre 287 BULK-REACTION. Dr.-Ing. Cihan Ates and Joel Arweiler participated in the event and presented our findings on the secondary motion of particles under flow. The study is conducted as a preliminary step for an ongoing project, Hermit, where the goal is to develop an AI augmented solution for waste recovery at large scale.
