This year's ASME Turbo Expo took place in Milan, Italy, from June 15 to 19, 2026. As one of the world’s leading conferences in the field of turbomachinery, the ASME Turbo Expo brings together international experts from research and industry every year to discuss current developments, research findings, and technological innovations.

This year, the conference boasted impressive numbers: With 3,185 attendees from over 40 countries, approximately 1,200 technical presentations, and 151 companies and organizations at the trade exhibition, the Turbo Expo set new records.

The ITS was represented this year by Hanna Martin, who presented a research paper on behalf of the ITS, as well as Professors Sigmar Wittig, Hans-Jörg Bauer, and Marco Lorenz.
